In this episode, I sit down with Janet Morrison — angelic numerologist, ego and inner child coach, and founder of Red Feather Serenity — for a conversation that reframed something I thought I already understood. Most of us know numerology exists. Most of us know one number from it. What Janet does goes three layers deeper — and the accuracy of what those numbers reveal is, as she puts it, the owner’s manual nobody gave you at birth.

Featuring Wyze Guest Guide Janet Morrison
Janet Morrison is an angelic numerologist, ego and inner child coach, and founder of Red Feather Serenity. After a devastating family loss that collapsed her coping mechanisms and triggered a spiritual awakening, she discovered angelic numerology and recognized it immediately as her path. She now helps people understand their pillar numbers, move from the shadow side of their traits into alignment, and use that understanding to make better decisions across every area of life.
What We Cover in This Episode
- What angelic numerology is and how it differs from traditional numerology
- What your three pillar numbers — month, day, and year — each reveal, and why the combination creates a complete picture
- How your numbers apply to relationships, life purpose, health and wellness, finances, and social media strategy
- What the shadow side of a number looks like and how to shift into the gift side
- How Janet used numerology to understand her nonverbal autistic son’s needs before he could communicate them himself
- Janet’s origin story — the tower moment that brought her to this work
Your Birthday Story
Most people, if they know anything about numerology, know their life path number. That is the number you get when you add your entire birthday together and reduce it to a single digit. It gives you a broad picture of your purpose.
Angelic numerology does not stop there. It looks at three separate pillar numbers — your month, your day, and your year — each carrying its own distinct energy and meaning. Then it looks at how all three interact. The result is not just a life path number. It is a birthday story — one that explains with remarkable specificity why you are the way you are, where your struggles come from, what lights you up, and what feels like pushing a boulder uphill.
Janet did a live reading of my numbers during this episode. I am a 7, a 9, a 5, and a 3 overall. The 7 is the philosopher — the deep thinker who self-isolates to recharge and functions as a human lie detector. The 9 is the humanitarian. The 5 is the adventurer, the inner child, the one who will absolutely go crazy doing the same thing every day. And the 3 is the communicator, the artist, the joy number — the one that explains this podcast, the scattered half-finished projects around the house, and the fact that I have never once met a stranger. She did not know any of that before she started. The numbers did.
From Shadow to Alignment
One of the most important concepts Janet introduced is the shadow side. Every number has a gift expression and a shadow expression. A 3 in alignment is a joyful, creative, expressive communicator. A 3 in its shadow is someone riddled with self-doubt who dims their light and struggles to speak up. A 1 in alignment is a natural-born leader blazing their own trail. A 1 in its shadow is controlling and manipulative.
When someone comes to Janet and says her numbers do not resonate, it is usually because they are living in the shadow side — not because the numbers are wrong. And the work she does helps people move from the shadow expression into the gift expression of who they are.
She also talked about dueling energies — numbers with opposing characteristics that leave someone feeling confused about themselves. A 4, which thrives on structure and routine, living next to a 5, which revolts against any routine at all, creates an internal tug of war that can look like inconsistency or chaos from the outside. Understanding the tension between those numbers gives it a name — and giving it a name makes it workable.
Relationships, Purpose, Health, and Finances
The range of what angelic numerology can illuminate is genuinely broad. In relationships, understanding your numbers versus someone else’s shows you exactly where friction will arise and where flow will come naturally. Janet used her teenage son as an example — he is a 7, just like me, and needs to come home after socializing and decompress alone. She is a 3, who wants connection the moment he walks through the door. Understanding his numbers changed how she approached those transitions and changed their relationship.
For purpose, the numbers do not prescribe a job title. They reveal what kind of environment you will thrive in and what kind will make you miserable. A person with many 5s will go absolutely stir crazy in a cubicle doing the same thing every day. A person with many 1s needs autonomy and will suffocate under a micromanaging manager. The numbers help you stop wondering why something feels wrong and start understanding what would feel right.
For health and wellness, they reveal why certain approaches never stick. A 5 cannot commit to the same workout routine forever — it will revolt. The solution is not more discipline, it is more variety and play. A 9 will give until there is nothing left and then give some more. The health work for a 9 is learning that rest is not selfish, it is necessary.
And for finances — the clearest insight Janet offered is that alignment is the most direct path to money flowing easier. Pushing against your natural inclinations to follow what someone else’s system says you should do is like pushing a boulder uphill. When you find the path that fits your numbers and overcome the specific limiting beliefs your shadow side generates, the boulder starts rolling on its own.
The Owner’s Manual Nobody Gave You
Janet described angelic numerology as the owner’s manual nobody told you existed. I love this framing because it removes the mysticism and makes it practical. You did not get to choose your numbers any more than you chose the model of the machine you are living in. But you can learn how it works. You can learn what it runs well on, where it tends to break down, and what kind of environments will burn it out versus let it thrive.
She started sharing this at a craft fair, with a sign that read: Your birthday has a story to tell. Want to know what it is? A stranger’s jaw hit the floor when she read his numbers back to him. He called his friends over. None of them knew her. That is how this work announces itself.
