Your Soul’s Library

The Akashic Records are, as Dawn describes them, your soul’s library. Every lifetime your soul has ever existed — past, present, future, alternate timelines — is stored there. When Dawn accesses a person’s records, she opens that library through a short prayer and steps into a space where the soul’s full history, its patterns, its contracts, and its blueprint become available.

What shows up looks different for everyone. Some people experience it as a vast library. Others see nothingness, a universe, or layers of light. Dawn describes her own experience as a deep knowing — a claircognizance — where she understands what she’s accessing even without always seeing it visually. I shared my own childhood experience of visiting what felt like a data center, pulling records off shelves, long before I had any concept of what the Akashic Records were. Dawn’s response was simply — yes, that’s exactly what it is.

The Records are accessed with permission. Dawn would never open someone’s records without it, and when a person comes to her, that’s their yes. Everything channeled comes from a place of love. There is no darkness in this space — Dawn sets the container with clear intention before every session, and in all her years of practice, nothing dark has ever come through.

Healing Grief, Relationships, and Soul Contracts

One of the most powerful things the Akashic Records can offer is a pathway through grief. Dawn shared the example of a client who had lost important people in her life and was holding onto them in the physical — unable to move through her grief. By accessing the Records and connecting with those loved ones, the client received understanding and comfort that had no other pathway to reach her. What came through was unexpected, because what the soul experiences on the other side is so different from what the human mind imagines.

The Records are also a remarkable tool for relationships. Every person we are in close contact with — partners, children, parents, siblings — carries a soul contract with us. These contracts can create confusion, chaos, and triggering dynamics that feel impossible to shift. Dawn shared the example of a client whose eight-year-old son had been a husband, a father, and a caretaker in previous lifetimes — and the role confusion was showing up in their current relationship in ways that were exhausting for both of them. Through the Records, they were able to identify that contract, clear it, and set the intention to rewrite something new.

And here is what I find especially powerful — you do not need the other person to do the work. If you are estranged from a parent or a child, if the relationship feels stuck or beyond repair, you can still access your own Records and do the work on your side. The shifts happen regardless. If both people are willing and present, Dawn can open both sets of Records together for even deeper healing — but the individual work is always available and always meaningful.

Purpose, Intuition, and the Gift You Already Have

A question I hear often in my community is — what is my purpose? Dawn’s answer is one I deeply resonate with: you are always living in your purpose. The question is whether you’re giving yourself permission to stand fully in your truth.

She connects purpose to core values — the things that make your soul sing regardless of the role you’re playing. Her own core values are deep connection and building relationships, and she can live those whether she’s working at McDonald’s or reading someone’s Records. The Akashic Records help people see that clearly, and often what comes through is simply confirmation of what they already knew but hadn’t yet trusted.

That trust is a thread throughout Dawn’s work. So many people come to her having felt things, known things, and dismissed those knowings. When the Records confirm what they already sensed, something opens. They give themselves permission. Dawn describes watching people reconnect with their medicine, their gifts, their ancient wisdom — and the shift that happens when someone who has been silenced finally hears: this is your time.

Dawn discovered her own gift this way. In 2020, during an Akashic reading, she was told she could read the Records herself. She had always assumed everyone had this ability — which is exactly why she hadn’t recognized it as her own gift. The moment she began practicing, it was instant knowing. All the memories from childhood that hadn’t made sense began clicking into place. In 2025 she founded the Akashic School of Wisdom to teach others, because she believes this access belongs to everyone.
